All text failing

I changed over to pay as you go before going travelling Asia last September. 

I was told I would have to send a text every 4-6 months to keep the number active, so I have topped up £15, but every text I send from my Uk number fails.

I am still receiving texts to this number which in an eSIM, but I can’t send any, and I can’t call EE from 150 or their abroad number, it just cuts out.

There's a few bits here not quite adding up.

Conversions from pay-monthly to PAYG need 30days notice initially, and then - what is in effect - new PAYG SIMs need to be first used in the UK before they will work abroad.

You then mention being able to receive texts abroad (good evidence of roaming being active) but using an eSIM.. which isn't normally available on PAYG.

When exactly did you travel abroad? Does your phone show a connection to a local Asian network? When did you last make a chargeable action from your phone?
