Galaxy watch 4 overheating on LTE

I have a EE account and paired Galaxy watch4 which when on LTE will overheat after after about a 2 minute phone call. The watch has been replaced same issue. Has anybody else had the same problem or can suggest a fix?

Samsung watch

I'm recently brought the Samsung watch 4. The battery doesn't even last 24hrs and even though its supposed to use its own data its only using my phone data and keeps disconnecting from the phone when out of Bluetooth range.
