Samsung water in the port error

Hi

Hoping somebody could advise me on this issue before I pull my hair out, I changed my old Samsung that was displaying this error "water in the port" as I thought the phone was just old and it got to the point it wouldn't charge. I upgraded my phone to the S24 FE and 2 months in this is happening to this phone as well!! Changed chargers, cleared my usb settings and it seems like it's now an issue a lot of people are having with Samsung devices going by Google. Anyone any suggestions please to help me. TIA

Hi @Weejulz208

Do you use the device in a humid, warm environment or hold it for extended periods, keep it in your pocket.

I have to say I have never encountered this on any Samsung devices.

Thanks

@Northerner

Thank you for your reply, Any of these things I don't do. I really don't understand it and I have always have had samsung phones with no issues at all, I could leave the phone sitting if I'm busy etc and come back and it says water in the port. Very frustrating as it is new 😔

With your new phone are you also using a new charging cable, or the same one you used with previous phone?
