 I received this text having ordered a new SIM, switching from Plusnet. Is it real or a scam? I'm currently on hold to your customer helpline and struggling to get through.

Is the name referenced at the start of that text, your name?

If so - that text looks genuine to me. I don't see what gain a scammer would get, by sending this.
