Why does it take so long to get a new phone?

i ordered a iPhone 17 pro max in cosmic orange online on 24th September to be delivered to my local store and 8 days later I still haven’t received a delivery date. Why does it take so long?

@Jondicko   The store should contact you when it’s there for collection.   Might be worth giving them a call or popping in to see if it’s there.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max in Cosmic Orange is showing in stock at the moment and would usually be dispatched within 1 day.

You can visit or call the store to see if they have it as @Chris_B has mentioned, or if you give our customer service guides a call, they can check the order to see if it has been dispatched.
