Pixel 8 pro pre order

Hi all have the pixel 8 pro on pre order it's due to be released tomorrow but on my tracking it still says awaiting delivery date confirmation. Has anyone elses tracker updated or will it just be delivered tomorrow?

2 calls to customer services today. First person told me my order would be delivered today, second person told me the order failed to be collected yesterday and it'd be delivered tomorrow. DPD just delivered it! Don't believe what customer services tell you as they don't seem to have a clue, just wait and hope for the best, I got no notification from EE or DPD, it just turned up

Absolute shambles of a launch with EE and nobody can give accurate information on what's happening with the orders

After being told yesterday And this morning my Phone is with DPD and should be on the way, I have just had a message from DPD to say they have just collected it and it will be here tomorrow so Ee has straight up been lying to me! So frustrating as I was assured it would arrive today so used my holiday to stay in and my current phone is bust so could really do with it! EE are useless will be complaining for sure!

I ordered mine on the 5th, told it'll be delivered today. 

Contacted EE yesterday and they said it has been picked, contacted today and they said they can't give any information on when it will arrive. Tracking says to be confirmed and no information from dpd, checked my cctv and it's been delivered. 

Terrible service from ee, i wouldn't even mind waiting for the phone but that fact they can't / won't give any information is ridiculous. 

Fingers crossed for the rest of you it will turn up today ✌️

Have been refreshing the app all day and it randomly showed they were out for delivery (Pro 128GB in Bay and Pro 256GB in Obsidian) and 5 minutes later they have turned up! Hoorah!

Mine was just delivered now - Luckily I had got back from school run a couple minutes earlier.

However, I had no tracking info sent from EE or DPD to indicate was arriving today. Even called EE this mornng and they said would be tomorrow

Happy its arrived, but disappointed at the distinct lack of updates

No thats useless! The DPD App, signed in and in my profile have the same address email and phone number that i placed the order with and you will see all your historical orders and any information on upcoming orders.

Usually you would get information through the lifecycle of the journey with DPD from them collecting it to delivering it.  However this time i refreshed and they were telling me delivery time slot of 15:25 - 16:25 and it showed up in the app at 15:35 so still not great but it's worth a try to try and get some information.  Some people have been using the app and getting more info and others less than i got so it is hit and miss

Yeah, I also checked the app earlier, and it only showed older orders.
Nothing for the one I just received. Until I entered the tracking info on
the package there was nothing.

I reckon a number of people will have missed their delivery today

Yet now that I see the tracking when I add the code, it says it was out for
delivery since 09:37 am so surprising no updates sent.

Even Evri perform better than that and thats saying something

Well, the DPD app finally updated which was great.

The issue was it could not be delivered and I had to wait for tomorrow. 

I have got it sent to my work so I can have it, but seems that EE has forgotten to put some address detail in. 

Even though it was confirmed over the phone it was the correct address.

Which causes them to not be able delivery it.

Just had exactly the same issue. This is after being told they have not given my parcel to DPD yet. Truly awful customer service today. Seemingly no one at EE knows what's going on.
