Hi all have the pixel 8 pro on pre order it's due to be released tomorrow but on my tracking it still says awaiting delivery date confirmation. Has anyone elses tracker updated or will it just be delivered tomorrow?

managed to speak to CS on the chat not very helpful just said the order was picked and on its way to DPD claiming it was first come first serve even though I ordered the moment it went up tried to fob me off with saying I was priority pretty sure it's not arriving until tomorrow since it has to go all the way to NI oh well

I was just told via webchat that there are delays delivering them to EE

I just got off the phone from my local store and they told be that they haven't had a delivery yet and to call back later today

If that is the case then they shouldn’t have ask for delivery payment. Until they have them in stock.

I ordered the 256GB Obsidian on reveal date and mines turned up just now. No tracking with DPD, no EE updates or any emails or texts.
Whoever got told that the 256GB isn't evened stocked yet... Don't believe it. Sounds like a glitch with tracking and updates to me.

Despite being assured this morning that I was definitely getting the phone today as DPD collected it yesterday, just called customer services again as there's still no update from DPD and been told that it's not going to be today as there's loads that DPD didn't collect yesterday so it'll be tomorrow instead. An update from EE regarding this would actually be quite useful instead of having to wait for ages to get hold of someone on the phone to find out what's going on. Extremely poor service from EE here, especially with giving out false information

So it Would appear this is simply an abysmal lack of co-ordination on the behalf of EE and DPD as I have now just taken delivery of my device - although I did have to beg and plead with the delivery driver to leave it in a safe space via my ring doorbell as he was expected to provide proof of delivery but thankfuly he did not have to arrange for redelivery.
Terrible customer journey EE, I expected better.

Mine just arrived too - no tracking/no notifications at all - but happy I have the phone!
