Iphone 16 pro- 16 pro max pre order thread/that time of the year again

Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

I got that message  on the 7th as well but no dpd message . So by the look of most on here we should get the message today so hopefully we should get them tomorrow

exactly the same as yours, when I spoke to EE yesterday they told me they are automated messages that are sent out, Problem they are having is the stock of the devices coming from Apple. 
Only advice i was given by the upgrades team was “You’ll know when your phone is coming as DPD will reach out on the day, our EE tracker is updated every 24 hours” 

Fingers crossed though for you that you get your message soon!

With delivery estimates we always aim to keep this as up to date as possible, but it's not updated with stock levels in real time, and can vary depending on demand and stock availability. 

With the model you've gone for here, it looks like we were estimating 14 days for new orders on the day that you placed your order. 

This was then brought forwards to 7 days the following day, and has stayed the same since then. 

Please keep an eye on your texts, and as soon as it's ready to dispatch you'll get a message with your DPD tracking details.

Hello everyone, 

Just a little update for those looking for hope. 
i ordered my iPhone 16 pro max BT 256GB through EE over the phone on the 24th September 2024. 

I only received a “your pre order is confirmed” message on the app on the 24th right after placing the order and then a “your order is on track” on the 1st of October. 

I was becoming inpatient, so I did give an EE guide a call at 9am this morning. She told me that my phone would be with me in a couple of days. 
To my surprise, I got my PIN code and tracking link from DPD this morning (11:18am) however still no update on EE website. Still saying order is on track. Nothing indicates it’s been shipped to DPD.

Hi @Mezzy,

We don't have a specific dates but with the iPhone 16 Pro Max 256GB Desert Titanium at the time of your order the guidance was for dispatch in more than 28 days from your order. The current guidance updated yesterday to dispatch within 28 days of order.
