I ordered mine in store on pre order day, last upgrade 2 years ago got mine very first day and didn’t even order far in advance. Ordered white 512gb iPhone 16 pro max and paid deposit being told I’d definitely get it on release day. Got an email and text confirmation but only with a 4 digit order number to do with the store
release day came, no phone but store said the early preorder day orders came in and the ones ordered in the days after up to Monday night had come in but mid afternoon preorder day orders hadn’t, but would be there soon.
waited a week and nothing so called the main sales phone number who told me they can’t find anything on the system and they don’t have order numbers like that even though it’s emailed directly from ee, so to call back store.
called store who checked system and said it’s on there but they’ve no idea of updates, have to call main line, told them they don’t have any info or even find the order. They said it’s fine it’s on system but can’t help more than that.
so now it’s nearly been a month and I’m still confused and no better ideas. Raised complaint already but heard nothing off that too. In the meantime they’re trying to charge me more for my existing contract going over because they’re waiting to renew it til the phone comes
nightmare so far but most frustratingly is the lack of any info or update but the deposit guarantee for launch date was taken. So frustrating
