Iphone 16 pro- 16 pro max pre order thread/that time of the year again

Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

Does anyone have any experience of the EE insurance with apple care services. Or would it be better to just have apple care directly with apple.

My hope is there is just a big pallet of them sitting there waiting to be booked in and matched to orders, to be done very soon. I just can't get my head round how they've caught up with the pro orders enough to offer 1 day dispatch, but are that far off the PM ones especially as all I've heard all week is that people had opted for the pro over it.

my email confirmation was confirmed at 15:15 on pre-order day so I have been able to track (that is a laugh) it since then.  It is stuck on the first stage.  I’ve had zip from either EE or DPD so am deeply unhappy.

Like you I just hope they have pallets full of iphone 16 PMs in Natural Titanium that they have none connected to the customer yet.

EE really do need to up their game in terms of keeping customers informed of what is going on. Playing this waiting game is not good for my health,

i feel so annoyded and frustrated. what was the point of doing a pre-order if its not delivered at release day and probably wont be delivered until early-mid next week? I might as well have come to the store in person today and picked up the phone on the spot.. Really disappointed.

Well about two hours ago I got a text from EE with a pin for my delivery. Yay!!! But then it turns out it’s for my AirPods Max! Boo! But also yay!!!

I have seen the same, but I only ordered on the 17th so would be suprised if I would get it before the 28 days waiting I was told on the phone.

Also the  * Order dispatched on : * is blank.

After my original “confirmed” order with confirmation number on 13th at 13:09 was somehow not processed and a new order made yesterday once I discovered this,  I was told it would be weeks for an availability. One email of complaint later and I had a dispatch text this afternoon. Not holding my breath but it’s a step in the right direction.
