Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

I have had a total nightmare with this. 
First I ordered on the 13th, got a confirmation email and everything. Phoned on the 20th to be told that it "hadn't gone through their end and the system cancelled it". So I reordered the PM 1tb in Black on the 20th over the phone. Got told 28 days. I've had an email every Friday saying my order is on track. Chatted to support last Friday who said I should get my phone on "Tuesday or Wednesday" this week. Chatted to support yesterday to ask for an update to be told my order is "still under process".

I've updated every two years for the last decade but this debacle is making me seriously consider leaving EE.

Hey, 

I ordered the 256gb WT pro max. I ordered on the 26th September, although it wasn’t actually confirmed until 29th, so it took them 3 days to even confirm the order. Apparently the 28 days is from date of confirmation not date of order. Well that’s what an agent told me the other day! I’m very impatient  at the best of times 😂😂

I ordered IPhone 16 Pro max in Black, 512 GB on 30th September, got confirmation email straight away and was told that it’s 21 days, today I called them to get an update as the status is still showing “awaiting “, they said they don’t know how long it will take and they can see that expected delivery is 21 days so it might take additional 21 days. He was more confused on making up a story than I was in understanding his story. 

It does say 21 days for me too and ordered on the 8th so hopefully it will
be next week when we are emailed to say it’s coming the next day haha could
be different

Ordered on 29/09, still nothing.  Only went with EE because I was planning to switch providers. 
Had to call up to confirm my online order, they than made some mistakes such as setting deliver address to my home address instead of shop as set in my initial order ( I am working shifts, constant issues with deliveries so this will cause me headaches) and selecting the wrong Tarif, which means I now need to call up again once I have my phone to get it changed. 

I ordered a case, which ironically is also delayed but right now I am tempted to cancel my order and buy it directly from Apple or somewhere else that has stock should my case come before a confirmed delivery date from EE. 

I know the lack of stock isn’t their fault and nothing they can do about it but as a new customer I am disappointed by the lack of communication regarding estimated delivery dates. They should be able to give more than “over 28 days”.

Ps peoples,  how many days, weeks months or years did it take your phone to come after the case and screen protector came? 
I wondered if they are sending the cases out if they haven’t been ordered as a sort of ‘apology’ by way of the amount of time the phones are taking? I know it’s not EE’s fault really at the end of the day as they didn’t make the phones, but I think people are more annoyed about the lack of communication and updates.

Hi I’ve upgraded my sim to a iPhone 16 pro max in natural titanium. I’m not seeing any updates , it’s been over a week , not sure if the tracking has glitched and my device is in the store for me to collect . Thanks for your help 

@Clarky1792  The time frame for this device colour is between 14 and 21 days.

Told another 21 days (ordered 17/09/24).

Most Apple stores have for collection now, so I drove to the nearest Apple Store & collected 7 was cheaper than EE!

F£$% EE customer service. EE, you are a joke!!
