Iphone 16 pro- 16 pro max pre order thread/that time of the year again

Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

They got the pro variant in stock which you can get within a day, I don’t know what’s happened to the pro maxes honestly…I know it’s not EE’s fault but this is shocking 

Ordered my PM DT 26/09 and no change online and no one at EE knows what’s going on when you chat with them quite clearly, been very close to cancelling a few times myself as it’s just too annoying checking for any kind of update and seeing everyone on here being in the same position. It’s 100% ridiculous, I only see a few choices really, hang it out and wait for the I know to be known, cancel and go elsewhere (which for me will be changing provider also) or cancel my upgrade and go sim only and just wait for the 17 and hope for a better result next time round. 
Bit of a shambles EE, your communication from staff has been shocking. 

Hopefully with all the calls ect they are onto apple to get them dispatched
asap il put on here asap I receive email to say o get my phone let you

If everyone threatens to cancel they might pull they finger out

Still waiting for my iphone16  as my current phone is on the blink . Ordered mine 21st sept and was told told two weeks ago it would arrived in two weeks . This has passed and no updates. Even order status from 21st sept  is confusing. 

im guessing EE dont like to reply on this platform .

and they say this is Uk number one Network ?

Hi Dave ,

I have exactly the same on my EE app as you , nothing has changed and I can hear different story each time I call them . I’m giving up and just don’t check anymore . Will wait till end of the month as see what happens, the customer service people are rude , and they don’t know what to say . I do understand problem with stock but at least they should be honest with people ! Definitely EE lost and will loose a lot of customers

So, after debating whether I should upgrade now or wait a month or two. I've decided to upgrade now just in case the back orders get worse. I'm not expecting the phone I've ordered (BT 512GB PM) to arrive anytime soon, I am keeping an eye on the tracking. Last year's upgrade was bad, I pre-ordered on the release day, and it took from then until the 18th of October for me to get the BluT 15 PM 1TB. So, in all fairness, it's roughly the same time as it was last year. Phoning up customer service to ask about your device is completely understandable, I do wish that they would flat out tell us: Yes stock is in/No we're waiting and don't have a time frame. I ordered online/text support and the EE system was bugging out badly. The system told him I hadn't owned my phone for 12 months and needed to pay the £300 fee! (I had double-checked before phoning). Then it was working and I didn't need to pay, then he couldn't process the order and had to ask the technical/line manager to sort it out, THEN! He was able to process it at around 10:30 am 18/10/24. From then it took until 7pm for me to get the text and email with my tracking number.

So I’ve ordered an IPhone 16 Pro Max (256GB(Natural Titanium)) 

The order was dispatched on Thursday 17th Oct, although it is blank under “Dispatch Date”

It has not yet appeared in my app and I have not received my tracking number from DPD or RM.

I ordered this phone when they were in-stock, one of the only reasons I ordered. It should have been delivered within 3 days.  

I’m wondering what’s actually going on with my order. As now the app says 21+ day waits and that not what I signed up for!!!

Morning,

I ordered an iPhone 16 Pro 256GB Desert Titanium and got a tracking number provided. But I haven't got the delivery data or confirmation. 

Expected delivery date: Awaiting confirmation.

Order updates: Your Back-Order is confirmed.

When I was placing an order with a Live Chat agent, they said it should be dispatched within 7 days, this is also displayed in the website shop. So I'm wondering if back-order confirmed means that now I have to wait until stock will be available and only then EE are going to dispatch it within 7 days??

A bit unfair to not mention if phone is in stock or not.
