Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

Definitely should just be honest when I ordered on 13th the lady told me 2 weeks or under then someone else said yesterday over 28days then someone else said they’re at the warehouse and waited to be allocated,

Ordered on 16th of September and still no phone or even an update this network is joke guys stay well clear of this network there a joke and there also the most expensive.

I have decided to cancel and pick my phone up from my local Apple Store tomorrow after work. The lack of communication is frustrating. I might consider switching to EE in the future with a sim only plan since they appear to offer better connection than my current carrier but at the moment I will have my phone sooner and come out cheaper sticking with my current carrier and paying for the phone separately. Annoyingly you can’t cancel online so will have to spend some time on hold to get through to customer support tomorrow.

But I have to admit overall my whole experience with EE has been very dissatisfying from the start, from them messing up my order to the lack of communication regarding expected deliver delivery/ stock arrival dates. 

Shame they can’t allow us to go into apple to pick up the phone I have one
in Leeds which is my local store might phone up and ask if I can pick up
there or an ee store

People need to realise, especially those who have ordered in October, you will get told one thing but reality is, your phone is not coming for a good amount of time. Living on false promises, either set from the community or EE themselves will not help get your phone to you any sooner. 
if you have no intention of waiting well over a month from your order date, I would suggest you look elsewhere because simply, that is the reality. 
some people may get lucky and get there sooner, therefore providing a more positive outlook, however on the majority this is not the case. 
In ordered on the 27th September - iPhone 16PM WT. I have been told so many different stories for EE I could write a book. I have finally given up after being told yesterday it could be another 28 days due to back order issues and no stock arriving, I have canceled and will go elsewhere. 
Good luck. Honestly EE have been shocking and I will not be returning anytime soon.

Honestly at this point I’m just going to wait tbf…and I have never been this patient in my life too
