Iphone 16 pro- 16 pro max pre order thread/that time of the year again

Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

Couldnt even place an order, kept changing the colour to an incorrect one, after i cancelled the order for the 4th time i have (just now) noticed the price has increased by nearly £30pm... all in all a bit of a frustrating day

Was it home delivery? When did you order? Did you get text with DPD number?

Ordered the 16 Pro Max on launch day within the first hour it came out. Had an email confirmation just over 2 hours later. I had been trying to track the order with email and number on the site but got the error. I’ve had no other updates since.

I went to the EE store this evening, they checked different systems and my order was a ghost order basically due to the systems crashing. It’s something you wouldnt even know had not gone through if you didn’t ring or see them about so I could’ve been waiting weeks for nothing. So did an in store upgrade and unfortunately now have to wait 28 days for it.

Did pre order got confirmation and today on release day nothing. Called ee and they said sorry be a month as didnt get enough stock from apple. Pathetic excuse as other networks managed to get phones to people today.

This happened last year as well to many people , but I have seen this year people who had ordered on pre order day had there orders cancelled and told to wait 28 days because of some system fault

So got an expected date of the 27th - 1st now, tbh I feel better knowing a date rather then the continued it could be any moment message.
