Iphone 16 pro- 16 pro max pre order thread/that time of the year again

Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

i also work for myself, why did you not choose to have it delivered to the store for pickup? it’s a bit of an entitled take to take days off and let customers down to be in for a delivery when you can very easily order pick up in store.

Because I don’t have a bloody store nearby that I wouldn’t have to take time off to go and do that anyway so don’t give me any of that entitled crap.

Same. I just saw this disclaimer on the email though

”Whenever you pre-order (i.e. order a device before it is launched), or order a device that is currently out of stock, we will aim to send it to you within 30 days either of the launch date (pre-orders) or of your order (out of stock devices).”

I have the exact situation. Still waiting for the DPD message. 
Did anyone ordered on the 14th and is in the same situation? 
I have ordered Pro 256Gb BT.

Is that true? I was said last week on the 14th that I would be able to pick up mine today or Saturday in store. Haven’t received any DPD text yet.

Not to give false hope, as I don't think my delivery will come today, despite EE stating it would, but I live in London and can get DPD delivery texts as late as 11am for deliveries taking place that same day.

It's not a huge problem for me as I'm self-employed and can often move things around easily, but can see how this would be an issue for some.
