Did not order sim cards

I ordered a new contract phone and paid £30 upfront fees and there is no sign of the order. Instead, they are sending me sim cards that I dont need or want

Did you order as an Upgrade or as a new contract? A new contract will come with a new no. & therefore a new SIM. You need to upgrade to keep your existing no. (& SIM).
