Brand new Google pixel 7a not working

Just received new phone this afternoon, tried to turn it on, but it it not working at all.

Have you tried changing it. Does the icon show on the screen. 

You are pressing the on button.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

Hi, there is nothing on the screen at all, you can hear the phone as buttons are presses, but there is nothing on the screen.

@Mazzazz11 - Try holding power button and the up volume button together, hold for 10 secs, then release. See if that helps.
