Hi, hope I can explain this well? I am a BT broadband customer and decided to go for a new mobile phone.
Anyway, found an excellent deal and what was good it gave me double data 25x2 which was good and a discount of £7.50 off the contract all good Mmm
Now I go through the process and ask to keep my old number, now this is a PAYG and not a contract, I was on a contract but it’s about a year ago. Then a notice comes up and says ‘we need to pause here’ you are already an ee contract customer? Well I am not on contract and a PAYG isn’t a contract, so it stopped me and said log in to my ee account, I did and the package was now only 25gb and altogether £8 more!
Sorry, but this isn’t fair, I thought BT and ee were ONE and also I am not a contract customer.
So deleted the basket, is there around this?
Many thanks

Hi @Eastendgal.
Thanks for coming here.
I'd recommend giving us a call on 150 and asking our teams to remove your old EE account.
Please keep us updated on how this goes,
Katie

Hi Katie
Sorry delay in replying couldn’t log in! I will do that because the deal is a lot cheaper going through my BT broadband account.
Best wishes
