Unable to activate Apple One

I recently upgraded to the Unlimited Business Full Works package with Apple One.   Yesterday I was sent a link to activate my Apple One.  When clicking on that link it launches an app  which shows "Cannot Connect" with a "Retry" button.

I called 150 technical support and after being on hold for ~30 mins they said it was all ok at EE's end and to call Apple on the number they provided.  I called Apple and they also had me on hold for a while, did a screen share before saying the problem was with EE.

Anyone else had this problem?

C'mon EE - what do I need to do to sort this?

Hi I’ve had exactly the same problem. Been between EE 150 and Apple and still no resolution. Apple say it must be the link that is the problem.  I’ve had the link resent and the second time it said cannot connect.  The first time it worked but then said cannot verify number. This is a problem is EE are offering this as part of the contract and it doesn’t work.

So basically i've had this issue for about 6 months, went round in circles for hours on end between apple and ee.
The blame lies on EE not apple.

Link takes me through to a 'unable to verify' my number, when I speak to support they say that I already have Apple One and its active on my account - honestly its unbelievable how much time is wasted.

Second link they kept sending me went through to the 'Cannot Connect' link - but if you take that link and put it in a browser, it should work - but it just takes you through to 'how to' guide - go to settings etc.

So - i've given up. Will just move away from EE at the end of this contract.

Thanks. Exactly the same problem. Fortunately my contract is monthly rolling because I have just taken EE broadband. I can cancel straight away and chose another package. What a nonsense. EE must be aware of this problem.

If someone just actually looked at it, and the screenshots people supply - its surely an easy fix.
What a mess - and unfortunately, i'm stuck for the next 18 months.

Good news I’ve got it working.  EE 150 had to clear the Apple one add on and also cleared an Apple TV promotion.  They also reset my network settings. She then resent the link by text. Because I have a galaxy phone I had to send the link to my IPad by email because it won’t run on Android. I ran the link in Safari on the IPad and it worked first time.  I had my IPad connected to my Galaxy phone hotspot and the galaxy was on the EE 4G network.

Just thought i'd check mine - so link takes me through to the Apple Offer which takes me to:

This phone number could not be verified for this Subscription. Contact EE for help.

I might have to try 150 again...

That’s where I’ve been. But doing all the stuff removing the add on etc. it worked. I was very surprised and so was the lady at 150.

I have the same problem. Can’t activate the Apple one. When i text 150 it doesn’t let me pick up the Apple One as it is not listed.
Can anyone advise if there is another way or do i have to call CS?

You have to ring 150 and ask them to cancel the add on and resend the link
for activating it. Also get them to cancel any other apple add ons or
subscription like apple TV. You must run the link on an Apple device. Ipad
or iPhone. You can only run the link once.

Already on the phone and waiting for more than an hour.
Is there any other way not to be waiting for an hour to get a link?
