Not sure if this is the correct place to post this.
Is anyone else having buffering problems with TNT sport watching on the big screen from the discovery + app on their phone?

Hi @ganger68
Do you have a good data connection when you're using it? Does it work OK for other events?

Hello Alan
I had the same problem.
I used to watch BT sports via a browser and had no problems.
When they switched to TNT I did the same via the Discovery+ website.
The steaming was appalling. Picture froze at least ten times during the match.
I have superfast broadband and have no problems with BT sports, Netflix etc.
I cancelled the subscription, I'll watch the game down the pub instead.

It’s obviously not a very wide spread issue as I don’t get any buffering when using the app on my Apple TV or the Apple TV app that’s built in to my TV.
Might be worth reading THIS as buffering isn’t cause by the app is the connection that’s the issue. But I highly recommend a factory reset of any device if all other options have been tried

It is terrible. I watch it via the Discovery app on my smart TV. Used to stream from phone as BT Sport and so much better. Not sure why it’s so hard

Hi @MJBowers
Does the same happen if you watch TNT Sports on any other device?
Is this happening every time you watch TNT Sports?
Leanne.

Hi @MJBowers @AlanH2 @Robert215,
You can find some useful tips in discovery+ loads slow, buffers, or pauses – UK Help Centre - discovery+ (discoveryplus.com).
If they don't resolve the issue, there is also an option to report the issue to the discovery+ support team.
Hope this helps.
