Roaming to USA. I bought roaming for USA

I have bought roaming for the USA and it is not working at all. My phone says emergency calls only. I made a complaint via webmail as my IPad is working on my daughters WiFi. What was the point of setting up the Roaming if it doesn’t work! This happened last time I came to the States . I am disappointed and frustrated with this and when I get back to the UK I will be changing providers to a company that can give me this facility.

Buying an add-on does not activate roaming, you need to activate roaming on your account.
Download Skype over wifi and use the number in my signature to speak to EE and activate roaming on your account.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
