Hi James,
I was wondering if you could help. I received my phone (pixel 7) on 30/10/22 and I am still yet to receive the SMS with the link for the £200 MasterCard.
I was told on the phone when ordering that I was eligible for it etc. I have spoken with 3 different EE representatives on the online chat and each one has been useless telling me to wait one more day.
I'm now on day 17 and still yet to receive any form of communication with reference to the prepaid card.

The texts are sent out 15-30 days after receiving the phone, as close to 15 days as possible. Hopefully you'll hear soon.

What number did you call? A guy on the EE chat gave me a number, when I called they said this number is for people who have the SMS but are having trouble claiming the card...I'm sick of being fobbed off.

You don't need to take any action until you have received your text. It will be sent automatically 15-30 days after receiving your phone.

Same number Claim number if having problems same they just keep fobbing me off wondering if anyone actually has had the gift card

EE used to have the best customer service, it was the reason I left Vodafone, now nobody seems to know what they are doing.
Ive been told:, wait one more day , wait 48 hours , wait 3-5 days. Your card will be delivered to home address, you will receive an SMS with a link and you will receive it via email.
5 different people, 3 different stories.
Told by the claims line " we don't deal with this, we only help those who have the text but can't access the card".
Sick and tired of being told to wait and being told different stories.
Conveniently this all happens after the 14 day cooling off period so people can't cancel their contract.
