I'm having issues with my Friends and family discount code. It's recently been generated; standard upgrade and I've chosen a SIM only plan that doesn't appear to already be discounted. The code is coming back as invalid. Am I missing something obvious? Why is it not being accepted?

Welcome to the community.
Try all of the steps below, paying particular close attention to step 4:
1. Make sure you're accepting 'all cookies' if prompted when using ee.co.uk otherwise the voucher codes will fail.
2. Delete cache and cookies from your browser.
3. Try typing the voucher code, rather than using copy/paste.
4. If you've previously entered the voucher and clicked 'Back' on the browser, the next time you enter the voucher again it fails. If you enter a random word in the voucher field/box, delete it and then try adding the voucher code again it should work.
5. Make sure you have not selected a 'Good as New' deal, these are not eligible.
6. Have you selected a special deal, such as a 'Trade In' deal? try selecting another phone or plan to see if the code then works.
7. Vouchers only work on handset and SIMO, they will not work on other products such as tablets and watches etc.
8. Try using an alternative internet browser to access ee.co.uk like Firefox.
Let me know if it works.

Thanks Chris, unfortunately it's telling me the following "This code is not valid with your current selection. Please make sure you meet all the conditions of this promotion". I'm choosing a SIM only and it's not discounted in any way so why is it telling me it's not meeting the conditions. Has it anything to do with my current contract? My current SIM only is out of contract, my daughter's SIM only is linked to mine.

Hi @allan_gillian,
Which SIM only plan are you selecting?
Do you already have a friends and family discount on your current plan?

Which SIM only plan are you choosing, @Profile closed? As I can see, the only stipulation is that it has to be 12 month, 18 month or 24 month.

Which plan are you choosing? The thread you've replied to is 2 years old so the info might be out of date as the rules have changed slightly.
