Free Buds with Galaxy Fold 6

Afternoon All, 

 

I upgraded my phone yesterday (22/07/2204) in store from a Fold 4 to a Fold 6. unfortunately I had to get an early upgrade due to a broken screen and traveling for work, so no time to have the broken one repaired. In order to upgrade early I had to pay £330 which I thought was reasonable due to my contract not being complete until December, but also the free Buds that I was told I could claim. I have looked online and cant find any way to claim this, even though the staff in store said I only need to show proof on purchase i.e receipt on the claims form 🤔.

 

Has anyone else go the same issue and if so what is the best way to claim the Buds ?

Well that's not true as I have been told by EE on the phone that I am not getting them and I can only get 30 on credit on my account which I don't want as the store told us we would get the ear buds after we asked few times and they had a sign up saying now they saying no, i bet they will have them not us. I'm soo glad next year I will be leaving ee as I had nothing but problems and getting lied to.

I think there Definatly needs to be some clarity from EE regarding this, if for no other reason than Samsung have Halted ALL deliverys of the buds. Their Website says for delivery from 22nd August, Very and 3 have removed them altogether, Currys only show pre-orders...

Some Clarification on this would be appreciated I think.

  1. Has your Stock arrived? If so, do the Batch Numbers/QC meet standards?
  2. Is the Delivery window of 15-30 after purchase STILL correct?
  3. Are you delaying Delivery until Samsung give you the OK?
  4. Have you Scrapped the Promo altogther?

You can't seriously expect us to believe, with a just over a week left to we hit the 15 day mark, EE has no idea where this is leading? I don't mind a delay if the goods are not fit for purpose, We know they are supossed to ship 15-30 days from purchase date, but where to we stand? I think we deserve to at least have EE acknowledge this might to be the case anymore.

But are EE STILL acknowling there is no Issue? You must be aware there is an issue, if so, see point 1...

Have you received stock? Have you Genuinly NOT been told by Samsung to withold/continue delivery with just 8 days to go?

We're sorry but there is currently a manufacturer delay on the shipment of your Galaxy Bud3 Pro - but rest assured we're doing everything we can to get them out to you.

 

Your Buds will be delivered directly to your EE billing address, and we'll be in touch when they're on the way. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.



As expected, the Samsung Delay has ofically hit EE. Fingers crossed Samsung manages to sort this out. Unfortunate, but better than broken buds.

Shame, but at least we now know. I'd rather know there is a delay and the Buds will (should!) pass QC, than have a duff pair.

I hope you get them.  I know I won't be getting them thanks to EE x
