Can't activate TNT sports

I've had TNT sports for over 2 years and had no issues, but last month I received a text message saying it had been cancelled and then another text saying it was added again. Since then I've been unable to activate the service again and customer service can't seem to help. They repeatedly pass me to Discovery Plus customer service but they can't help as I don't have an active subscription. This is a problem that EE know about and it's been going for a while now but there is no fix forthcoming. Last month I was given a temporary 1 month pass which seemed to work but now that has expired and I'm back to not being able to activate the service. Getting seriously fed up of wasting my time trying to fix this

Exact same as my experience.  Excuse after excuse from technical team. Fobbed through to discovery team when clearly it’s an EE issue.  It’s beyond a joke

Hi @Mchristie2, welcome back to the Community.
I can see you were speaking with us about this a few months ago and @Lesley_W recommended continuing with your existing complaint, and escalating from there if needs be.

When did you last speak with us about this, and how were things left with you?
Peter

Hi

yes my ticket was closed for no reason back in October or November and I called in again fir about the 10th time.  Same merry go round getting passed from support to discovery support.

i escalated again and raised a new ticket 24997730 on 17/12/24 and have heard absolutely nothing back. It’s beyond a joke. The ticket resolution is shocking.
mom currently on holiday snd will call when im home but I need a proper way to escalate this situation as I feel the support guys have no clue how to fix this.

Thanks for explaining there @Mchristie2.

Please let us know how you get on when you've managed to call, and we can look into the best way to ensure you move forwards from there.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip too.

Peter

I've had the exact same experience and have wasted countless hours on this now. Their 'goodwill gesture' of a credit on the account to cover a subscription for TNT Sports didn't actually cover the cost, and I now need to request it each time rather than any proactive acknowledgement from EE.

I've summarised here - this has been a known issue since at least 2023.
