BT Sport - VC018 Error

I have had BT Sport as an add on for a number of years and had no issues. I recently changed phone to an A53 5G and now when watching the app I get a VC018 error and sometimes says it is not available in my region...I'm always in the UK when trying to watch and only services which should be available to me. 

I've tried the BT diagnostics check and nothing helps and I've logged out/restarted numerous times but nothing works..

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Ismail, I've had the same error too recently when using the BT Sport app on my phone. What I have found is I get the error if trying to open the stream from the tiles on the front page of the app, however if I go to Schedule > Channel schedule and select the game I want to watch within there it works fine and I don't get the error so you could try this.

Thanks i will try this. It has been working for some games now but not all

I purchased a new A53 5g from ee last week and have now got this issue....just realised as I'm about to watch the Manchester derby. 

App had always worked fine on my old phone.

I've tried logging out and back in and then tried reinstalling app but same issue.

We are now watching via my wife's phone using my account details so it appears the issue is with the Samsung a55 phone

I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team about this so they can investigate further.

After the derby, of course.
