BT Sport - VC018 Error

I have had BT Sport as an add on for a number of years and had no issues. I recently changed phone to an A53 5G and now when watching the app I get a VC018 error and sometimes says it is not available in my region...I'm always in the UK when trying to watch and only services which should be available to me. 

I've tried the BT diagnostics check and nothing helps and I've logged out/restarted numerous times but nothing works..

Any help would be much appreciated!

I'll let you know tomorrow when I try to watch live football 😅

Hi i did call 150 and they said they will look into the issue but it is still not working

Last 2 days i spoke to 2 different people and i've also spoken to BT they dont know what it is

Hi @Christopher_G @ i cannot try this morning as it is only live football that does not work. So next time BT show a live match i can check which is the champions league games on Tuesday

It's really strange that it is just football that you have the problem with. So any other live sports work fine?

Yes other sports work fine but it is so frustrating i need to speak to customer services to see if they can change my phone to something else but it has been 3 months since purchase

It's unlikely to be a problem with your phone. It's more likely to be an issue with the BT Sport account.

It may be worth calling whilst the football is on, so they can test a few things, @Ismail6.

I'm having the same issue but on my Chromebook. Very frustrating. Did you manage to get this sorted?
