Resolved! Roaming abroad

I’m currently in Africa, Malawi and my EE sim is saying no service. Last year I was helped when this happened but I forgot how. Can someone help as I need to turn it on to make and receive calls

Surprisingly I have almost exactly same issue. Except I can hear person on the other side whilst not being heard at all. Also, WhatsApp works fine, so it's not the device issue.

roaming abroad

Can anyone help with this please, i'm going on holiday to turkey and i have the roam abroad add on with my contract will this work out in turkey or will it cost me extra to make calls/texts ?
