Having experienced an issue tonight I too want answer's. I tried dialling 999 4 times and would not connect yet can dial any other number.  I had to use another device to ring and got a call back asking if needed police assistance due to hang-ups so clearly connecting their end but I had no connection to them

Having tonight had an emergency tried to dial 999 and kept cutting out. I received a call back 5min later asking if needed police assistance as getting hangups so clearly connection issue. Had to use my watch.

I'm really sorry to hear you've had to contact the emergency services recently too, and am concerned to hear about the experience you've had when trying to get this sorted out.

Could you please describe to me what it was you were seeing on the handset when calling these numbers? You should usually be able to reach them via any available network.

WHY CAN’T I DIAL 999???

Housemate having a stroke last night (discovered bleed on brain and major trauma from hospital ) and I couldn’t call for help! Had to get someone else’s phone. Whenever rang front screen locked up despite 3 attempts didn’t work. Had follow up call asking if need police assistance due to hang-ups.    (Wi-Fi calling not so so location service available)

What model of phone are you using right now, and can you please describe exactly what you mean when you say the screen locked up?
