I got a notification in my settings that said “lockdown”. I swapped from sky to EE three weeks ago with a pac code and swapped my number over to EE, and now 3 weeks later its saying i have 4 days left to use this number before its deregistered from this phone and it will go back to the temporary number EE gave me and not my original number that i want. How can i make sure i keep my original number and i dont lose it

Did you give your PAC to EE during your ordering of the EE SIM? It sounds to me that it is warning that the PAC is about to expire after its 30-day life as it hasn't yet been used.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

Has your number been ported-in to EE?

The use of the PAC serves to cancel your existing contract/line, and move the number to your new network. If the PAC has been used, are you able to make & receive calls using your ported-in number?

If a number has been ported-in, then it doesn't then "revert back" a month later - the system doesn't work that way.

It would have been interesting to see the "lockdown" notification, that sounds most unusual.
