Voicemail alert but no voicemail messages

I have just returned from a trip abroad and since switching my phone back on I keep receiving a notification that I have a new voicemail, however when I call voicemail it says I have no messages. I’ve tried turning off badge notifications then switching phone off and on again but it hasn’t worked.

If that hasn't worked for you, please give Customer Service a call on 150 from your phone, where a guide will be able to reset your Answer Phone notifications for you.

I’ve also got Sam issue but can’t get through to anyone in EE - getting messages multiple times day… answerphone shows I have message… dial in but no message… getting fed up with multiple messages! Have tried someone calling and leaving message, then deleting, no help 😠

Welcome to the community.

Usually calling and leaving a voicemail, fully listening to it, then deleting the message removes the voicemail indicator. If that didn't work, I recommend trying again to speak with our Customer Support team again.

EE issues with ;voicemail are so dreadful that I dumped EE and went back to Bt
no problems since then
