Two conflicting roaming add-ons

Hi

I've recently changed my contract with ee. Before I was able to use our data abroad for free.

I now have two add-ons on my account. One called "Roam in the EU" saying I can use my minutes etc while abroad, and a new one "£2 a day for EU roaming".

Not sure if this mean I now have to pay for roaming as that would make the contact significantly less attractive and I'm in my 14 day cool off period.

Many thanks

@Leedsmedic1 :

  • "Roam in the EU" is just the ability or permission to roam in the EU. It's not free for more recent contracts.
  • "£2 a day for EU roaming" is 1 way of paying for it when you do.

You may use your usual UK allowances in EU with up to 50 GB (contract) or 25 GB (PAYG) data per billing month if you have more. If on contract & your contract started after 07/07/2021 there'll be a £2 / day charge for using your UK allowances in EU or you may buy the Roam Abroad Pass for £10 / month.

If you are on contract, remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to check roaming is enabled on your account.
