Hi there.
Previously when I went to France I paid a small fee to use all of my data and calls etc whilst there. I am going again next week but I can't see where I do this and everything seems to have changed.
My contract includes EU Roaming at £2.47 per day but how do I use it or do I just do nothing and it will kick in when I get to France?
Bit confused, sorry.
Many thanks
Shane

Assuming you are on pay-monthly, EU-roaming is now charged at a flat-rate.
You will default to a £2.47/day charge any day you use any of your UK allowance - be it voice calls, texts or mobile data. You can opt-out of this by having the £25/month roaming pass, should that be more cost-effective. Both options achieve the exact same end result.
Regardless of the billing option you choose, you need to have enabled roaming on your account, which is the free facility to enable access to foreign networks. If you have used your phone abroad previously, then unless you've explicitly requested it removed, it should still be active.

Thank you very much.
So, I essentially do not need to do anything other than enable roaming?

@shane59 : That's right! As you are on contract, just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your account.
