Hi. If I switch on roaming can I use my phone to down load stuff and use the internet and do you have any idea on costs ????

Thanks for coming to the community. 

Just to add to the advice from @bristolian, if you have a pay monthly contract please text ROAMING to 150 before travelling to make sure your account is set up to use abroad.

@Antonia51 , it is not cheap to have data roaming in Egypt, you should however be able to use wifi where it is present, that is what I did, and just paid to enable to receive phone calls and make them and for text.
