Kalimera Niko (Just in case you’re not Greek, morning Nikos),

So keep me right on your wording. If you have a contract, you’re not prepaid. You get an online bill and pay each month. A contract would have an end date or renewal date.

PAYG means pay as you go or prepaid. It’s where you recharge your account and buy bundles. You wouldn’t have an end date on prepaid.

If you’re on contract (four lines on your account which expires in 2023) then yes. You’d be liable for roaming charges when you renew / regrade. These would be £2 per day and yes per line.

Remember though. You can add a £10 bolt on that would cover a month of EU (and some select other countries) roaming. Any trips more than 5 days. It’s worth looking at.

If you are prepaid, not contract then additional roaming fees don't currently apply for trips to the EU. That’ll likely change at some point so watch this space.

I am going to pay them after the end of my contract.

Hi @Nikos16

Thanks for posting 🙂

If you have started a new contract after 7 July 2021, you will pay £2 per day to use your calls, texts and 50GB of your data allowance for each number.

Please see our EU Roaming After Brexit, Help page for more details.

Before you travel please check your My EE account to make sure roaming and call abroad is active, see our EE Roaming - Getting ready to use your phone abroad post, for help on getting set up.

Have a lovely time.

Leanne.

You may use your usual UK allowances in the EU with up to 50 GB data per billing month if you have more. If your contract started after 07/07/2021 there'll be a £2 / day charge for using your UK allowances in EU or alternatively you may buy the Roam Abroad Pass for £10 / month.

Remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure roaming is enabled on your account.
