Hi - did you resolve this issue as we are having the same problem - can't get any help from bank in Australia and neither EE
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

EE ran all of the checks, and it seems like the problem is not with EE - they couldn't even see texts trying to get through from Australia.
I resolved this eventually by speaking to the Australian bank, but I had to wait over an hour on hold - so I'd suggest using Skype or similar. They have sent me (in the post from Oz) a dongle thing that generates security codes, and I have to use that instead of getting a text from the bank. Some other Australian banks will give you a security password that you can use for online bank payments rather than having to get a code by text.
I think basically their systems have changed, and they can't dial overseas numbers to send texts any more (though they didn't confirm that).
HTH and good luck!

How long have you had this problem, is it something that's recently started? Are you in the UK or Australia?

Hi - I am in the UK, this is relatively recent - I haven't used the account much so the last time was around July. I don't recall doing anything differently, the phone is the same.

Are you on contract or PAYG?

Can you receive text messages from UK numbers?

Hi - I am on PAYG

Hi - yes no problem and I can also receive texts from European numbers.

Hi @woodworkstuff,
Have you checked if your bank is able to send texts to international numbers?
Some OTP services have security restrictions that prevent PINs being sent internationally.
