Phone not working turkey

I’m on holiday in Turkey at the moment and I have had an emergency where my family off seven was homeless for 24 hours due to holiday provider not booking our hotel when we had paid for it. I was stuck and couldn’t use my phone to contact anyone at all and have had to sleep in the reception area over night. How can o get my phone working

Are you on PAYG or pay-monthly? The process to activate roaming - which is what allows your phone to work abroad - differs between them.

If you're PAYG, roaming is auto-enabled providing your phone is used in the UK first.

If you're pay-monthly, you need to enable it before leavigng the UK, which is normally done by texting ROAMING to 150
