Has Wi-Fi calling stopped working for anyone else today 27/08/2025

Not using Starlink, on standard BT broadband.

All our EE mobile phones have lost Wi-Fi calling together

Rebooted and still not working

Hi,it's not Starlink, it's definitely EE. They've admitted there's a
nationwide problem for some ( very randomly, they said. )they keep
promising it'll be sorted within 2 days but 3 weeks on and still nothing. A
friend of mine has BT wifi and has the same problem with EE.
I've told EE if not sorted asap, I will stop my automatic payments; we
should all do that, that should teach them!

Sounds like a plan, is this an issue with just EE then? if that's the case I think I might say I am going to change provider as that seems the easier option at the moment.

Yes, it is. They did admit it eventually last week, but has been going on
for weeks now and still no results.
I've just emailed them, using the complaints form and I'm also emailing the
EE CEO, see if that helps.
Will phone them again today again as well, and tell them to reimburse me or
I will leave. Problem is that we live very rural and no signal apart from
3minutes up the road, so having to rely on WiFi calling.
It was fine for a year, no problems, until it "out of the blue" just
disappeared, 3weeks ago. .
Some neighbours have the same problem, others dont. EE has admitted it's
very random, crazy.
Going to another provider is sadly not an option for us, EE is the only one
here but I won't tell them that!

My WiFi calling came back for three days but this evening it’s gone agai

Well, I've had a lengthy conversation with EE and they insist it's not EE'
s fault. Got in touch with Starlink again by text (Starling app-support)
and they came with the suggestion to use the app, go to settings etc and
click on network, then split network, then choose the 2.4GHz
You have to make up a primary and secondary network and a password.
Then click on network and choose the 2.4GHz one and also change the network
setting to 2.4GHz in your phone. Reboot your Starlink router and restart
your phone.
It sounds complicated but do get in touch with Starling support through
your app. if you're lost. They'll explain it much better.
It did the trick for me, so far... fingers crossed.

I’m not using Starlink, I have fibre from Wessex Internet. And my O2 phone still has WiFi calling.

It must be EE then......theyre just a bunch of liers! I will see how long
my wifi calling will last then.....you can always email directly to their
CEO: Claire Gillies. You can find her on Google on EE CEO .That's what I'm
planning to do if the problem doesn't get resolved.

WiFi calling was back when I woke up at 6 this morning and I discovered a voicemail from an important call that I’d missed yesterday afternoon. Time to port my number to a more reliable carrier.

Glad you've got it back, such menace when nobody can reach you and vice
versa.
Fingers crossed it won't disappear again. Mine is still going too but
changing provider is not an option here, EE is sadly the only one.

tried that... no joy. I dont know what you mean by changing network setting in phone after selecting the 2.4ghz network you created. I cant find that setting
