: Hi everyone, I'm currently in Ghana and facing an issue with my SIM card which shows no service or bars. Consequently, I haven't been able to receive crucial identity validation texts for several banking apps. Has anyone had a similar experience or can provide some solutions? Any advice on either accessing my texts or fixing the SIM issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
David

Your phone needs to be setup to connect to foreign networks which is known as roaming. This is normally done by texting ROAMING to 150 before leaving the UK - did you do this?
If you didn't, then that permission is not inplace and will now cause catch-22 inability to connect. Your only recourse will be to contact CS from another means (Skype or another phone) and reauest roaming is activated.

Hello @Chaitsy.
Welcome to the community.
Did you activate roaming before leaving the UK by texting ROAMING to 150?
