Hi
i keep receiving text messages from JibeRCS with messenger verification codes I have not requested.
Each time I delete the message and block the number but they keep coming and are clearly spam.
How do I stop this ?
Thanks

Thanks @Muld00ny
In that case you can ignore these messages and block the numbers.
Before doing that could you please forward this text onto 7726 so our security team can investigate.
Thanks
Chris

Hi @Juney8688.
Thanks for coming to the community.
Did you sign out of Samsung Cloud?
Do these messages come from a number?
Katie 🙂

Hi @Jibespam,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Have you ever put your SIM into an Android phone, even for a short time?
Have you been using your number for a while or is it new?

The only thought that I have if you have NEVER owned a android then how long have you had the mobile number for? Is it a new number on EE? Have you recently had the number changed on EE? If so could be a recycled number therefore needs to be changed again to help with this issue.
if you HAVE ever had a android phone then I would follow the Google link above for resolution.
finally just block the number and ignore as there is no problem on the EE side. It’s an android service. 🙂
have a great day.

I’m having this reason at present and recently switched from android to Apple

- Problems with the sim in Mobile Network discussions
- Network update settings in Mobile Network discussions
- Potential fraud Calls in Mobile Services
- Phone number coming up as SPAM in Mobile Network discussions
- Number called me twice but when I call back it says the number is unavailable in Mobile Services
