Issues making and receiving calls at home

Pam84

For a while now I've been unable to make or receive calls in my house unless I stand near my front window.  My husband is on the same network and has no problems. If I switch to data at home I also struggle to connect to it.

In the EE shop they said it could be an issue with the SIM card and technical support should be able to do a check on it but I've tried phoning 150 for help but cannot get through to a person to speak to, to get this done to try to find what the problem is!  I filled something online to check the network in the area and that's come back all ok.

Does anyone know how I can get some checks done to get to the bottom of this please?

Hello @Pam84

Welcome to the community.

Have you been able to test your SIM in another device?

WiFi-calling would be the stock answer here, but if two phones on the same network are behaving differently, a 2way SIM swap is the next step.

Put your SIM in your husband's phone, and your husband's SIM in your phone. I suspect the issue will follow your phone and suggest a fault, but by doing so will you prove it.
