I have the option to merge calls but it’s not working. How do I fix this?

Hi @Dungate2014 

Third party apps such as WhatsApp offer group calling. 

If you wish to call EE, you can call 150 from the phone without using a third party app. You can find all the ways to contact us here - Contact us | Get in touch for help and support.

As I said I need to 3 way call EE,DWP (no apps supported to insecure use conference calling*) HMRC (no apps supported use your suppliers system*) etc

So how do I do that, this is a feature thats 35+ years old

Sorry we have no merge call option available, if you require this option you  would need to use a third party app @Dungate2014

Is there a reason you would need to use group calling to call us? @Dungate2014 

We would only need to speak to the account holder to access the account and this can be called on 150 or 07953 966 150.

Two reasons.

1, an account holder is in Northumberland but I deal with all financial issues as she is disabled but likes to be present/hear what is said

2, I might want independant verification of what was said

Conference calling has been a feature for decades and only EE doesnt provide it prefering to push cusotmers onto far less secure apps which dont work in many many situations including calling EE!!!!

They can request you to have access to the account by calling us and requesting this @Dungate2014. Once this is set up you can have access to the account to call us in the future.

They live in Northumberland, I live in Kent, it's a 6 hoour drive just to talk to EE when conference calling has been a feature of phones for decades and is still a feature for everyone except EE..why is that?
what about the other reason?
Why are EE pushing people to easily intercepted Wifi apps?
