A 020 number has been calling me and leaving voicemails, I blocked the number however they are still able to leave voicemails. I’ve sent a text to say they have the wrong number but it’s possible this isn’t a mobile user. Please help

When a voicemail is left, the source of the voicemail is immaterial to any notification that the recipient gets.

If text notifications are enabled, they get one. If notifications are disabled, they don't. The voicemail spool icon appears regardless.

Same here calling 8x an hour saying I had called him i blocked him yet I still kept getting the same voicemail it's not some scam to get info from your phone or your private stuff on your phone?

@Frillynickers56 : How can it be?

That’s a difficult one. My father when he was in a care home, mid 80’s, dementia setting in, living in a small room, used to get comfort from playing with his mobile phone. He always liked computers and tech. He managed to regularly phone one of his granddaughters and when she answered he’d say, “It’s so good of you to phone” and repeat throughout the conversation. His eyesight had all but gone, so I suspect he just liked holding the phone and probably pressing buttons and managed to press the “last number” button.

He’s long dead now, so it was one of the ubiquitous Nokia phones around at the time. My niece told me she got these calls from him regularly and had given up telling him that he had phoned her. It was nice and sad in equal measure.

Sorry I’ve not directly answered your question, but I think these calls aren’t malicious. Just some confused, lonely guy.
