100 texts to use abroad

I was sold 100 texts to use in Thailand by EE but now I'm here I'm unable to connect to a network my sim does not allow it so I'm unable to send or receive texts.

You can't be charged for roaming as you don't have the permission to roam in the 1st place as you never texted ROAMING to 150 before you left UK.

A daily charge only applies for "inclusive" roaming which is only applicable within the EU. In any other country, per-use charging only applies when you use your phone on foreign networks.

In either case, without roaming being active your phone cannot connect to foreign networks. Without that connection, you cannot perform any activity which needs mobile network service - that means no calls, texts or mobile data. No usage means no ability to incur charges.

Thank you v much for yr help. I have messaged them asking them via
Facebook to activate roaming if I am not going to be charged for it or
refund me if i will be and to let me know. Its 0050 and I need to try and
go to sleep.

@bristolian : Outside the EU there is also the daily charged Travel Data Pass. The OP could be referring to that.

Once you get EE to activate roaming for you, you will be charged for roaming. You'll only not be charged while roaming is not activated.
