Mine is exactly the same, wish id never joined EE ... im now having to tell people not to bother calling me just to email instead this is when im in my own home its a disgrace really, I pay my contract EVERY month on time without fail and I cant recieve nor make calls in my own home

No network has 100% national indoor coverage, but EE do offer WiFi-calling. Anytime you have indoor coverage issues for whatever reason, this service allows normal use of your phone for calls & text messages regardless of mobile coverage.
