Roam Further

I have recently taken out a Full Works package and will be travelling to Australia in a few weeks. I understand that Australia is covered under the Roam Further feature. I was somewhat disappointed when I took out the new contract to be told by the staff in the EE shop that what this actually means is that whilst in Australia, I will be able to make and receive calls and texts to/from home, back in the the UK within my (unlimited) call and texts allowance, however calls (and texts) that I make to Australian numbers (whilst in Australia) are not included in Roam Further and will be liable to charges. I was told that my (unlimited) data allowance would be included in the Roam Further whilst I’ll be in Oz.
Can someone confirm or otherwise what I have been told by the staff on the EE shop, and ideally provide a link to the terms and conditions that cover this. TIA

@Kal-El  You can call/text  Australian numbers when there and you  can only use up to 50Gb of your data allowance per month when roaming.

Make sure roaming is enabled on your EE account before you leave the UK by texting ROAMING to 150.  You can do this now

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
