Hi,
signal indoor in W1H and around is awful and apparently only EE is experiencing it: local restaurants (especially Seymour Place ones) have confirmed me that their employees with EE don't get any coverage inside and have to go out on the street to send a WhatsApp or make a call...
I live in this area and if not on my wifi, I have to open my window and place my phone slightly out in order to send a message or have a normal phone conversation ... same in many indoors on and around Portman Square. I don't think that's normal: can't EE fix that?
I might have to leave EE just because of that, it's been 2 months in this neighbourhood and I won't allow more issues... I have to be able to talk on the phone normally and rely on my phone network to email...!
Have some of you experience the same?

The status checker at https://coverage.ee.co.uk/network/ee does report a known issue in this location, the testing data I have shows good coverage from a serving site at a nearby hotel.
You've alluded to using WiFi-calling which would be a good mitigation in the meantime.

thank you. you are basically encouraging me to leave EE.
If I need wifi because EE doesn't cover indoor like many in this postcode can confirm, and if you don't really care about addressing the issue since your option is to use wifi (my calls don't go through them and you don't care), tell me: why should I stay with EE?

I'm another user like yourself, offering advice on a peer-to-peer fellow-customer basis.
WiFi-calling allows full use of your phone for incoming & outgoing calls & text messages, it sounds like you're referring to app-based solutions which WiFi-calling is not.
My checks of EE's normal coverage of this area is that the serving site is closeby and provides good service levels, EE's status checker (which I linked to - feel free to check yourself) advises of an issue there. Meaning the current service levels you are reporting, are not normal.
