Good Evening

Has anyone else's WiFi Calling suddenly stopped working today ?? (31st)

I've tried all the usual fixes. Restarted everything. Everything up to date. But still won't connect.

Kind of stuck without it as no signal whatsoever without it.

Hi,

Both my partner and I have pay monthly EE. I have iPhone 15 pro and she has the 14 plus.

She just told me her WiFi calling hasn’t worked for months. Checked mine doesn’t work either.

Now I’ve done all the obvious things.
restarted phone, latest software, rebooted the router, turned off and on WiFi calling. Reset network settings on iPhone. Still nothing.

I’m connected to WiFi. It’s decent as well, I just ran a speed test on the iPhone 15 and I’m getting 508Mbps download and 425Mbps upload.

In airplane mode with WiFi connected I get this message when trying to make a call.

No Network Connection

Connect to a Wi-Fi network or disable

Airplane Mode to make a call.”

I also tried connecting to neighbours wifi, he’s with a different ISP and it didn’t work with his either.

Am I missing something obvious here? Any suggestions appreciated

thanks

Hopefully once it is back online, it might solve the EE-->3, outbound HD calling too! 🎲

Working fine then did the update to 17.6 and no longer working.

But I also have a 3 PAYG SIM on dual SIM iPhone (number I can trash when scammers find it) and Wi-Fi Calling on 17.6 working fine on 3 network so it's an EE issue not an iOS issue.

@Club  Are you on iOS 17.6 as this issue seems to be started since this update.    WiFi calling has work prior to this update.  Your other half has probably had a different issue prior to this update.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Defiantly the 17.6 update broke it for me, was on a call prior to the update, now no wifi calling at all not even in airplane mode which always used to force it on for me.

Seems to be an EE issue after the update. Hopefully they provide a fix very soon.

Do they work through the night?

I called their tech support who were "puzzled" and eventually said they got permission to escalate me to 2nd level support but they close at 20:45 so will have to wait until tomorrow.

Frustrating 'cos no mobile coverage (atall) at home) and no landline so completely dependent on Wi-Fi Calling.

Yes same issue here, iOS 17.6 on EE and WiFi calling stopped working, see my post posted today (can’t post links on this forum for some bizarre reason!)

@Chris_B  I've made a lot of calls today from home and although I didn't check the screen for wifi calling, it must have been working because where I was sitting I don't normally get a signal, certainly not one that holds for more than a minute or so. I made a call at 17h25 for 15 minutes and it was crystal clear so it must have been working for me then and earlier.

It's odd that you're getting wifi calling at work but not at home.

Doesn’t work via my mobile router and it’s also not working on android so it’s not a iOS update issue.
