Finally sacked off O2 after being loyal to them since I was a kid. Its crazy how they were one of the best and now they're easily the worst, maybe just ahead of three.
Does anyone know what the mobile coverage is like at big festivals such as Creamfields? I know they put a big article about additional masts for these but did anyones network actually work? Not that you really need your phone anyway at them, but its nice to be able to actually open facebook or something in the morning unlike the low 3G/No bars i got with O2 last year 😞

I've had 4g signal pretty much every year with EE at Creamfields. Any arena (Steelyard, etc) that live streams has zero signal for mobiles whilst the cameras a filming the DJ's. If you go away from that arena, the signal is restored!
Download the app, what3words to locate your tent, find your friends, or have them find you!
Vodaphone is the only other provider that has signal, again, 4g.
Creamfields only provides the masts, it's down to the individual phone companies to provide their services to the event! Creamfields only finds out who is, on the actual day of the event. 2023, EE and Vodaphone both had posts of providing their services to Creamfields, this year, I've seen nothing posted from either company!

Almost!
Festival organisers would agree locations for the sites with network operators. The operators would install their own sites - both the temp-towers and all the equipment - themselves. Nice mis-spelling of VF too - quite a popular one, that!
