Local tower outage

EE are the most rudest company I have ever delt with for nearly a year waiting and complaining about the valley tower Down and constantly being lied to it’s been fixed my network is like being on 2G way to slow. All my friends family in sane places not receiving 5G for what I agreed and promised fantastic coverage contract was a lie  I’ve been with them more than 20 years plus and it’s gone so low and poor it’s a complete waste staying with EE after contract ends I’m gone and can’t wait I strongly do not recommend them

Can you be a bit clearer on what issue you're having with your mobile service? Your post comes across as a bit of a rant, but unfortunately a little light on detail.

I can ascertain an issue with 5G coverage being "promised fantastic" and "was a lie" - is that the problem? Or is it something about a local outage in Valley Down?

I’ve been having no 5G for nearly a year now and was told the 5g tower in
the valley charlton se7 being fixed and it’s 10 minutes walk from my home
and still today nothing and it’s so poor it’s beyond a joke now. Every time
I contacted customer service all I get is its fix yet the 20 people I know
with EE are still not getting 5G and poor internet. Been told many times so
long EE give me some 4g network the law protects them from not full filling
the contract with me what a way to get out of sorting network problems
instead should off help me not find a cause to get our of helping me I hav
to be on WiFi all the time so what am I paying for nothing just one rip
off can’t wait for rip off Britain gets involved

EE's network uses multiple radio technologies, and no-one is guaranteed any particular "G" in any location. There's also no such thing as a "5G tower" : There are EE towers that carry multiple radio technologies, 4G is the only one that's always carried, indeed 5G requires 4G alongside, when used in NSA mode.

Out of interest, is there anything you use your phone for, that needs 5G and for which 4G is insufficient? Are you getting 4G coverage? I ask because your statement "I hav to be on WiFi all the time" suggests you are not getting any coverage whatsoever?

all I’m saying is for nearly a year now EE as not help me at all other than say all within the law what is provided don’t you think this is a joke reply and when I ask to speak to customer service manager about attitude he replied I am the manager well what can I say to that other than well when contract over I’m off.  Before around year and half ago I would say EE was at the top and I was really happy nothing to complain about at all but now well I just feel ripped off and discouraged from ever being with EE again and never to be loyal customer again each year just get next best deal and change every time to better deal.   ranting I would say telling the truth hurts about how EE customers really feel without the hype of lies shown in commercials making out better than the rest when clearly not

You've not answered some of the points I queried, specifically...

Out of interest, is there anything you use your phone for, that needs 5G and for which 4G is insufficient? Are you getting 4G coverage? I ask because your statement "I hav to be on WiFi all the time" suggests you are not getting any coverage whatsoever?

The answers to this do make a significant difference as to your situation, and without it your post is effectively a rant rather than "please help me"

I  get very poor 4G and to use my phone properly I connect to my broadband WiFi and the data I get with my contract is not being used and yes I use my phone a lot to keep an eye on my mother who his 95  I’m her carer need to keep eye on her when I  go shopping or out to keep her safe if she falls or need help. because she as fallen before and even stair lift stopped working sometimes so it’s assessal  having to view my nest  cameras to check on her
